# the online platform

Since 2025, we have a brand new online platform built to facilitate the map making process and communication between map makers, Editor in Chief and President. This has been a long and exciting adventure through an Erasmus+ project called DIG-IT.

We have built a process you can walk through, that helps you create your paper map and digital map at the same time. This means that, if you want to create a digital map, you already need your final list of spots for the paper map, and the design needs to be made and exported in the right format. This way, the making of the paper map and digital map aren’t two separate things, they very much go hand-in-hand. That way, USE-IT will always be USE-IT, just better.

This graph presents a concise flow of the map creation process through the platform. Most nodes contain hyperlinks for more details.

#### THE USER MANUAL

The DIG-IT team wrote an entire manual to explain how the online tool works. There is basically a tutorial for every possible action you can do to create your digital map. Have a look!
